Moroccan Modern Wedding at the Colony Palms in Palm Springs
This summer we had the pleasure of working with such a wonderfully gorgeous bride who loved one thing, color! I am always so excited when clients of mine allow me to design with so many fun colors and textures and aren’t afraid to experiment and make a splash. The wedding was at the Colony Palms Hotel which was designed by one of my favorite interior designers, Martin Lawrence-Bullard, and featured so many fun rich Moroccan elements and treasures throughout the property. We wanted to bring in the Moroccan elements of the hotel into the design of her wedding but combine them with a fun and bold modern take for an updated twist.
Terra’s stunning Manolo Blahnik’s.
Paloma’ Nest ring dish.
Flamenco guitarist David Maldonado played for the guests during cocktail hour.
To recreate the custom designed pattern from the invitations I commissioned hand painted linens to be made for the head table.
Our after dinner hookah lounge in the cabanas.
