Ballerina inspired Bridesmaid Dresses & Accessories
Whenever I find myself at a creative block I’ve always turned to forms of fashion and art for inspiration. While thumbing through an old impressionist art book, I recently came across the soft and ethereal work of Degas that I adored so much as a young girl. In his works of art studying the movements and life of the ballerinas that he admired so much, he put these delicate dancers in such a romantic and yet slightly mysterious light. Beautiful and sweet but with something a bit dark about their story.
This was the exact feeling that I got while oohing and ahhing over the wonderfully chic bridesmaid (or bride) dresses by the talented design house Sarah Seven. Her designs are retro inspired feminine pieces that would make any bridesmaid wild with delight. Let that little girl who dreamed of being a beautiful ballerina come out to play with some of these Degas inspired bridesmaid dresses and accessories.

They are my favorite, and I always feel so light and pretty when I wear them (they also pair well with black tights and dusty pink floaty dresses). Beautiful post, and a nice comparison…
