Luxury French Riviera Wedding Venue
Ultimate Wedding Collection French Riviera Wedding Venue
If you have been following us on social media you have noticed that we spent a good amount of time in the south of France last summer and can’t stop talking about it since. Well, that’s correct and for very good reason. It’s incredible! We were on a mission to find the next locations for the Ultimate Wedding Collection, the ultra luxe wedding packages we offer at select properties with a dream team of vendors already on board. And as we’ve admitted, we tend to not keep up with blogging when we get uber busy but we are finally sharing these jaw-dropping venue photos with you taken by the talented Tony Gigov of Austria who I met last spring when I taught a design workshop in Amsterdam.
Our friends over at Venuelust helped put a fire under our butt to show off these Cote d’Azur Wedding Venue gems that we’ve been holding onto a bit too tight so starting with Cap Estel, let me help you dream! Starting with our favorite luxury French Riviera wedding venue, let’s begin!
Cap Estel, located at Eze Bord de Mer (just minutes from Monaco), is an ultra posh 5 star hotel offering unparalleled location, scenery and service. Having hosted guests from Madonna to JFK to Bono, this exclusive property has seen many a fabulous fête. With offerings including a 180-degree view of the Mediterranean, 28 luxurious villas and suites, a Michelin-starred chef and its own private beach, it’s easy to see why Cap Estel has become such a sought after destination for jetsetters and trendsetters alike.
The hotel itself was transformed from a Russian prince’s private villa into a luxurious hotel in the 1950s. Estel has an expansive yet secluded lawn, infinity pool, full service spa, gym, outdoor grill lounge and private beach. The amazing attractiveness doesn’t stop with these features. The clean, crisp and luxurious interior design or the decadent Michelin star meals add to the allure of Cap Estel. The location, near Nice and Monaco, will make is easy for your esteemed guests to get to this luxurious Mediterranean paradise quickly and easily.
Did we mention Madonna’s manager wed there last summer? With Madonna, Bono and Elton John as guests, we think this villa fits the premier standing.
The crisp, clean white on white decor is perfect for a French Riviera wedding venue and just our style. Turning this villa into your and your guests private abode.
Find an open, expansive lawn with 28* unobstructed ocean views in the South of France is like finding a lottery ticket, so you can imagine how valuable this location is! Not to mention, a dream to design upon.
From your private indoor dining hall, theater and wine cellar, you truly never have to leave.
A full service underground spa, pool and fitness room lies below the villa at sea level to relax and revive in.
Stay tuned for our next post where we’ll be showing, and describing in detail, exactly what our dream vision would be for ourselves, or our clients here at Cap Estel.

A Colorful Modern Palm Springs Wedding Reception, Part 3
Now for the big reveal of this colorful and bold wedding reception!
Since we decided to have the dinner reception at the Bocce Ball Court we opted for two long rows of feasting style tables. To differentiate the tables that were all pushed together, I used a different color of napkin on each table and tied the corresponding strips of colorful fabric on them for napkin treatments. These bold colors popped off of the champagne sequined linens and sparkled under low hung lanterns and bistro bulbs. These colorful tablescapes were truly magical!
Guests dined in the courtyard on a seasonal fresh menu as the DJ played tunes and guests toasted the bride and groom. Following dinner the guests were brought into PSYC, the Parker’s Spa, where they were treated to desserts, wedding cake and were able to dance under a beautiful Moroccan cabana poolside. In true party girl style, the evening ended with a SPLASH when all of the wedding party jumped into the pool and jacuzzi to enjoy the last few cocktails of the evening.
Palm Springs weddings are known to be fun and colorful, so we had to take it to the next level!

Colorful Modern Palm Springs Wedding: Part 2
After throwing around a few different design ideas the couple opted for a simple ceremony design with a woven macrame backdrop and asymmetrical color florals mixed with magnolia leaves. Brightly colored vases with branches and pampas grass started the aisle way and opted to use the Parker’s brown velvet ballroom chairs verses the white folding traditional ceremony chairs for a pop of glam outdoors. Jenn and her bridesmaids carried beautiful bold bouquets by the talented Luna of Arrangements which were offset by the mismatched neutral dresses the girls wore in shades of nude and rose gold.
More from Jenn:
We envisioned a beautiful wedding, but more importantly, we wanted everyone to have a blast! We incorporated all the things we love in the details: food, travel, family and our dog, Vinny. Vanessa did an amazing job at pulling everything together and making it cohesive and unique. Chance and I asked my dad’s best friend marry us and my stepmom helped us write the wedding ceremony from start to finish. This allowed us to make the ceremony truly personal to us and we were able to include our relatives who are no longer with us, including our grandparents and Chance’s dad, which was really meaningful to us. We wrote our own vows and picked non-traditional wedding music to give our ceremony a super fun vibe.
We couldn’t have dreamed of a better day. From walking down the aisle to Bittersweet Symphony to the lambchop lollipops and old fashions at cocktail hour to ending the night in the pool in our wedding attire with our friends and fam…our wedding day was truly a reflection of us and it really was the best day ever!! And…it was SO MUCH FUN! Mission accomplished!
After the ceremony guests sipped on old fashions served from “The Vinny Bar” which we created in honor of their dog who couldn’t make the festivities. I even created an illustration of Vinny for the napkins and signage! Mismatched graphic printed linens topped the belly bars with tie backs created from various silk fabrics which we used throughout the wedding design.
In honor of the couple’s world travels, I created a seating card design that was inspired by their globe trotting. I found a steel garden orb which I tied on strips of fabric which corresponded to their table’s napkin treatments. Each table was named after one of their destinations including Ibiza, Mallorca, Rio de Janiero and Napa Valley.
Stay tuned for part 3- the reception & after party coming up next!

A Colorful Modern Palm Springs Wedding: Part 1
When you have the opportunity to work with a client that A) Wants to go BOLD with color! B) Has a love of traveling as much as you do, and C) Gives you carte blanche to just ‘go for it!” It was truly a magical combination. After touring with with Jenn & Chance in person and showing them how cool a Parker Palm Springs wedding would be the rest of the planning was done from afar. With Jenn and Chance living in Florida and me traveling in Europe for the previous summer, we worked off of Skype calls from cafes in Ibiza and Monaco with wine in hand. Making working with them a true pleasure!
JP + Chance’s Love Story….
From Jenn:
When Chance and I met we quickly bonded over our mutual love of food, travel and the west coast. I had just moved back to Florida from San Francisco and Chance moved to Florida from LA the previous year. We chatted for hours about our fondness for the Golden State and how we both ended up in Florida to be closer to our families. From the moment we met, we were completely inseparable. Our first year together we traveled to Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Tulum, Napa Valley and NYC. Through endless food-a-thons, hiking, exploring some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and even one case of Montezuma’s revenge, our love grew stronger with each trip.
We both wanted a destination wedding and California was an obvious choice. We were bringing together friends and family from all over so we wanted everyone to make a vacation out of it. We fell in love with The Parker as soon as we toured the venue. The property is the epitome of an instant vacation: the mid-century modern vibe is unreal and grounds are beyond gorgeous! Vanessa Van Wieren, our wedding planner, urged us to think outside the box and suggested we have our dinner on the bocce ball court and our reception in the Palm Springs Yacht Club, which is the Spa. We immediately loved both ideas and they turned out to be stellar moves!
