Celebration to Publication: Glittery Gold Modern Downtown San Diego Wedding Rehearsal Dinner featured in Exquisite Weddings Magazine
“A little girls dream all grown up…” Glitz and Glamour Downtown San Diego Wedding Rehearsal Dinner
Last winter I had the extreme pleasure of meeting the beautiful Kristy of Lounge Appeal when she asked me to design her wedding invitations for a then wedding in Italy. A few weeks, glasses of wine and chit chats later my surprisingly almost next door neighbor had become a friend and had changed the location from Italy back to San Diego. Although she had already had a planner on board from the beginning I jumped at the opportunity to design a special evening for her and Clint and wanted to create a stunning downtown San Diego wedding rehearsal dinner. She was the ultimate girly-girl who loved gold (me too!) and loved all things beautiful and sparkly, while Clint on the other hand was more streamlined and clean and modern. With this in mind, I wanted to create a gorgeous sparkly evening reminiscent of what a little girls dream would look like. Gold sequins, music boxes and 70′s era vintage eclectic decor pieces were mixed with modern white and silver streamlined vases for a fun juxtaposition of styles. To keep the modern edge, we stuck with an all white palette of flowers but mixed in a ton of different styles and textures from roses, lisianthus, hydrangea, orchids and anenome.http://alchemyfineevents.com/

Mike Larson Tuscany Wedding Photography Style Workshop: Cinzia Bruschini & Segerius Bruce
Mike Larson Tuscany Wedding Photography Style Workshop at Villa la Selva: Student Spotlight part 1
During the Mike Larson Wedding Photography Style Workshop this past spring I had the chance to meet many of his talented students. It is always so amazing to me still to see how each photographer can capture a look, a feeling, a detail, unlike no other that is standing right next to them. This is especially true in the case of the Tuscany Wedding workshop as I truly feel each of these wedding photographers has something totally unique and talented to offer. I would love to work with each of them for a destination wedding in Tuscany or throughout Europe! With that said, I would love to showcase a few of the students work that blew me away. I apologize for the long posts but it was just too hard to not show so many of these gorgeous shots!
